Trails received about an 1/2 inch wet sticky snow last night. Due to the warm temperatures, it's challenging grooming conditions leading to some snowmobile track and ski marks. All trails are groomed and tracks are reset. Luckily, we've got some cold temps coming this weekend which will set up the trails!
Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-5pm are busy traffic times to Pine Street Woods as our Youth Ski League is starting! The Youth Ski League has 80 kids signed up this season and we meet Mondays and Wednesdays in PSW from 3:30-4:30pm. Expect traffic and crowded trails during these times.
Dogs: We allow dogs on the ski trails on Fridays after 12pm. Dogs are always allowed on the narrow trails.
Rental Center Hours: Our regular hours for the Outdoor Recreation Center in Pine Street Woods are Saturdays and Sundays from 9-4 for daily, and weekly ski and snowshoe rentals. We are closed M-F for rentals but the trails are open for use every day regardless of Rec Center hours.
School Program: Note- our school program runs through the first week of March. Tuesday-Thursdays will find our trails full of kids frpom 9:00 until 1:30, and we briefly close the road whenever a school bus is travelling up or down.
Schweitzer Round About Trail: We have good news - the Schweitzer RAB trail (about 1 mile, flat & dog friendly) is being groomed on M/W/F. This is a free trail so please be appreciative if you see the groomers doing their thing.
